Let’s get started
We'll make sure you're getting the best out of your filtration for API manufacturing.
Safe and Efficient Catalyst Recovery, Decolourisation and particulate / precipitate removal in chemically synthesised API manufacturing.
As API's manufactured through chemical synthesis increase in potency year on year, the need to protect your operators becomes a significant part selecting the most appropriate filtration and separation solution. SupaClean™ is a versatile fully contained filtration system, ideal for limiting operator exposure when processing potent HP-API starter materials , intermediates and final product. Protecting Your People , Your Product, Your Process. The SupaClean can accommodate any filter within our portfolio making it customisable for a variety of applications.
Our customised design of SupaClean™ has the capacity to capture up to 10kg of catalyst. Mounting in parallel can expand capacity as desired. The contained design also aids safer handling by the re-processor.
Metals such as Palladium and Rhodium should always be recovered wherever possible. This lowers environmental impact while the pharmaceutical manufacturer can realise substantial payback on the recovered metal reprocessed.
Whether it is filtering precursor solvents or removing precipitates formed during reactor chemical synthesis, the SupaClean™ system protects your personnel and your process.
Depending on the efficiency, batch volume or flowrate we can install our full range of filters into the SupaClean™ system. These include Meltblown depth, Pleated depth and our range of microbially retentive membrane filters.
You need a colour reduction process that is both swift and effective. Our Carbon Block systems offer a high surface area of active carbon in the convenience of a cartridge.
The SupaCarb CP provides superior colour reduction while minimising waste and eliminating operator exposure when teamed with the SupaClean™ system.

Precious metal catalysts such as palladium are essential to pharmaceutical manufacturing but represent a significant cost, making efficient recovery critical for maximising value. SupaClean™ provides the containment and separation stage of the recovery process. As the reaction mixture passes through the system, catalyst particles are captured within the contained filter assembly while the product stream continues downstream for further processing. Once filtration is complete, the sealed assembly can be safely isolated and removed, eliminating direct handling of catalyst-containing filter elements.
The enclosed module can then be transferred to a specialist recovery partner for catalyst reclamation. By combining catalyst capture, containment and safe handling in a single solution, SupaClean™ simplifies catalyst recovery while supporting operator protection and process efficiency.

Typical technologies include Closed Candle filters utilising primary cake filtration , Agitated Nutsche Filters, Sintered Porous Metal, Depth Filters such as Lenticulars and Amazon Filters SupaClean™.
The selection depends on product volumes and the mass of catalyst that needs to be captured and recovered. Technologies such as SupaClean™ are ideal for reactors up 5000 litres, providing containment and a practical format for shipping off-site for metal recovery such as Palladium
SupaSpun II
Precision graded-density elements that build on Amazon Filters' long-proven absolute rated depth cartridge. They hold plenty of dirt at a low clean pressure drop, and swap straight in for Pall Profile II.

SupaPore VP
A pleated, high-surface-area PES membrane for a wide range of liquid processing. Naturally hydrophilic, it contains no wetting agents and holds very low extractables for clean, consistent filtrate.

SupaPore VPH
Particularly suited to purified water systems, this pleated, high-surface-area PES membrane holds no wetting agents and very low extractables. It stands up to repeated steaming, autoclaving, and hot-water sanitisation.

SupaPore VPBA
Pairs a high-flow, asymmetric PES membrane with a built-in pre-filter layer, improving steam life and dirt-holding on heavily loaded pharmaceutical solutions. The second layer also wets more evenly for integrity testing.

SupaPore Nanofibre
A high positive charge draws negatively charged contaminants onto the media – endotoxins, bacteria, viruses, colloids, and metals. Its open structure keeps flow high, as an alternative to ultrafiltration.

SupaCarb CP
Tuned for maximum decolourisation and organics reduction, our high-performance sintered block use acid-washed, steam-activated carbon that holds up in pharmaceutical API plants. Thermal welding replaces adhesives, so there's no bypass and nothing migrates into the product.

SupaClean Filter System
The SupaClean Filter System consists of a filter cartridge enclosed inside two sealed bags, ideal for hazardous materials and paint industries

SupaPore THB
An expanded PTFE membrane over a large-bore core pushes high air and gas flow at low pressure drop, for fermenter off-gas, inlet air, and CO₂ lines. It won't wet out with water vapour, and steam-sterilises repeatedly.

SupaPore TMB
Heat-resistant supports and hardware enable our SupaPore hydrophobic PTFE membrane to vent continuously at up to 90 °C. It keeps WFI tanks and fermenter inlet air sterile where the vent runs hot continuously, not just during sterilisation.

71 Series
Hygienic tank vent housings with one combined inlet and outlet connection, mounting straight onto a sealed storage vessel. The seal-less Vee clamp releases by hand.
View product specs
72C Series ASME BPE
ASME BPE conforming housings that drain completely in the vertical position, for aseptic biopharmaceutical processing. Nothing collects in the base between batches.
View product specs
72C Series In-Line ASME BPE
In-line housings with ASME BPE Tri-Clamp ferrules at 1, 1½, and 2 inches. They drop into existing pipework without a base mount and take up no floor space.

76B Series
Crevice-free housings with a 0.4 µm Ra internal finish, in 316L or Alloy 22. The self-draining base cuts pressure loss, and they sanitise or steam sterilise in place.
View product specs
76C Series ASME BPE
Housings configured for low pressure drop in high flow gas, conforming to ASME BPE. Body lengths cover 5 to 30 inch cartridges, with Tri-Clamp ferrules at 1 and 1½ inches.
