Safety Interlock Kit for 61, 62, 66, 84, and 85 Series Housings

The Safety Interlock Kit prevents operators from opening pressurised housings.

Pressurised filtration systems are dangerous if not operated with care. Sometimes, operators try and loosen the V-Clamp retainer before the pressure is released from the housings. This can obviously lead to physical injury through components releasing violently and may expose them to the filtered liquid, which can cause harm.

How it works

The Safety Interlock Kit is simply placed over the V-Clamp and vent valve. Until the vent valve is opened to the vertical position it's impossible to remove the V-Clamp. Simple but effective. It's suitable for:

  • 61, 62, 6601 Series

  • 3 and 5 stack cartridge housings

  • 84 and 85 Series bag housings, when using the V-clamp closure.

  • Non Wetted Parts: 304 Stainless Steel
