Focus on pharma at Copenhagen Show

We were proud to showcase a comprehensive range of process filtration solutions for the pharmaceutical sector at a major international conference and exhibition in Copenhagen.

Our team attended the ISPE Europe Annual Conference 2026, where we highlighted how our filters, sanitary housings and customised technical support help drive innovation across critical pharma and biopharma applications.

Organised by International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering, the event welcomed more than 1,200 delegates to the Danish capital for three days of technical sessions, presentations and networking. Attendees included industry leaders and professionals involved in drug manufacturing, supply chain operations, research and regulatory oversight.

Held at the Bella Centre from 20 to 22 April 2026, the conference provided a platform to explore the latest developments in life sciences and product innovation.

Representing us on Stand 34 were Proposals Engineer Alex Lowther and Sales Manager Alexandra Foulger, who engaged with visitors throughout the event.

Alex said: “ISPE Copenhagen was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate how our process filters, housings and solutions support critical applications across the pharmaceutical sector.

“We presented a range of filtration technologies used throughout pharmaceutical manufacturing, particularly our SupaClean system, which combines enhanced operator safety with optimised filtration performance.

“Our containment systems enable safe filter changeouts when processing fluid and gas streams associated with the production of highly potent active pharmaceutical ingredients (HPAPIs).

“We also displayed a SupaClean filter system within a custom housing featuring a cutaway section, allowing visitors to see inside.”

Alexandra added: “Visitors to the stand learned how our depth and pleated filters support high-efficiency prefiltration, alongside validated 0.2 µm sterilising-grade media for critical final filtration stages.

“We also highlighted our steam filtration solutions, including SupaMesh stainless steel cartridges, which ensure steam used in sterilisation is free from particulates—helping to protect both equipment and process integrity.

“There was strong interest in our advanced filter housing capabilities, including sanitary housings designed for clean-in-place (CIP) and steam-in-place (SIP) operations.

“We also discussed how we manufacture both standard and custom housing solutions, from initial design concepts through to machining, pressing and welding.”

Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Maryland, USA, ISPE is a global organisation with more than 2,600 members across 73 countries, including process engineers, chemists, pharmacists and production managers.
