TMB](https://www.amazonfilters.com/products/filter-cartridges-and-capsules/membrane-filters/supapore-tmb), an enhanced high-temperature-resistant membrane product, is now live for use across the global pharmaceutical and biotechnology markets.  It is specifically designed for hot operating conditions in processes such as sterile air venting and large-scale fermentation.  SupaPore TMB is ideally suited for use in vent housings such as on WFI (water for injection) tanks or fermentation inlet air where filters are subject to continual high temperatures from heating jackets. Key features include polyphenylene sulphide membrane support and drainage layers, which provide robust resistance to oxidative and ozonated environments.  Mafalda Silva, Market Manager for Pharmaceutical & Healthcare, said: “There are a wide range of high-flow filtration processes in pharma and biotech that require sterilisation of air or other process gases to remove the risk of microbiological or particulate contaminants.    “The correct choice of filter will reduce running costs and the need for frequent changeouts and production downtime while optimising the operational lifespan of the filtration system. “We offer one of the most complete ranges of cartridge filters and housings for sterile compressed gas and venting applications in pharma and biotech.  “SupaPore TMB is the latest addition, ideal for meeting the requirements of high-flow rates and low pressure drops and offering consistent and reliable performance in demanding production environments. “It is capable of withstanding raised temperatures that otherwise harm standard polypropylene membranes through accelerated oxidation, particle shedding and contamination.” SupaPore TMB cartridges are made in an adhesive-free, thermal bonding process. Each unit is pre-flushed with ultra-pure water and integrity-tested before final assembly to meet the highest industry standards. The product comes with bubble point, diffusional flow and water intrusion values to validate the filters and system, and it can be steam-sterilised multiple times.
