Where did the cardboard go?

Written by Julie Hoad | February 4, 2021

A lot of the raw materials we purchase are delivered in cardboard packaging.   Our Facilities and Goods-In teams work hard to ensure that this is not scrapped; instead it goes into recycling containers for collection.   In 2020 we recycled 40 tonnes of cardboard alone!

And  we're not stopping there.   A key project for 2021 is to continue to reduce our carbon footprint. The first initiative is to change the packaging material we use for our finished goods, moving away from plastics and introducing recyclable paper-based materials wherever possible. And we have other plans in development too - follow our News and Blogs to hear more about these new initiatives.
