Amazon Filters has opened its new Distribution Centre at its site in Camberley, Surrey, UK.  We have made this major investment in facilities to ensure Amazon is able to enhance the outstanding levels of customer service it is known for. The new facility is over 2000m2 in size and will contain significant stocks of filtration products to ensure customers can benefit from fast delivery of key items.

The Distribution Centre was formally opened by Amazon Filters founder and Chairman Mike Pizzey and Luis Coimbra representing Multifiltra of Portugal, who became Amazon’s first European Distributor many years ago.

Neil Pizzey, Managing Director at Amazon Filters, said: “We are always looking to improve our customers’ experience and are delighted to be expanding our facilities and production capabilities at Albany Park. Its close proximity to the national motorway network, airports and docks enables us to offer a first-class service to our growing customer base.”

The opening ceremony formed part of a major European event hosted at Camberley – Amazon’s Distributor Conference 2014. Amazon was joined by key Distribution Partners from around Europe with participants travelling from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Ireland, The Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

During the 2 days the attendees were given a guided tour of Amazon’s facilities following significant recent upgrades and there were discussions on Business Strategy, New Products, Marketing Activities, and a sharing of Success Stories.

Feedback from those attending was that the information provided and the sharing of knowledge and experiences will prove useful in supporting our mutual customers throughout Europe and growing our respective businesses.
