We were pleased to showcase our latest innovations in critical process filtration for the global pharmaceutical market at Interphex 2026 in New York.
The event, held in Manhattan from 21 to 23 April 2026, brought together senior decision makers from pharmaceutical manufacturers, supply chain organisations and regulatory bodies. It gave us a strong platform to demonstrate how our process filters, sanitary housings and customised filtration solutions support essential liquid and gas applications across the industry.
Exhibiting at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, our team engaged with a global audience to discuss solutions spanning the complex, multi-step chemistry involved in producing pharmaceutical APIs and final drug products.
Visitors to Stand 2462 met Sales Manager Riaz Esmail, North America Business Development Manager Dan Knight and Sales Intern Jack Pizzey.
Below is a video tour of the products on our stand - by Jack Pizzey.
Riaz said: “Interphex provided an ideal opportunity to demonstrate the value of our products, tailored solutions and technical support to a global industry audience.
“We highlighted how our filters and housings support key production areas including API manufacturing, sterile products, liquid creams and ointments and product support utilities.”
Throughout the event, we presented a range of filtration technologies used across pharmaceutical manufacturing, designed to improve operator health and safety while optimising process performance. These included containment systems that enable safe filter changeouts when processing fluid and gas streams associated with highly potent active pharmaceutical ingredients (HPAPIs).
Riaz added: “We demonstrated how our SupaClean system helps reduce operator exposure during the filtration of potent chemicals and API intermediates.
“As well as enhancing safety, SupaClean supports the efficient capture and recovery of valuable catalyst metals such as palladium and rhodium for reprocessing. In combination with our SupaCarb product, it also enables improved decolourisation of APIs compared with traditional lenticular technologies.”
Water treatment solutions were also discussed, including filters such as SupaSpun II and SupaPore VPB, which support particulate removal and bioburden control across a range of applications.
We also highlighted our expertise in vent and gas filtration, ensuring gases used in critical processes such as fermenters, tank blanketing and venting are free from contamination. Products including SupaPleat Plus, SupaPore PPG and sterilising-grade SupaPore TP PTFE filters were featured, alongside specialist heated and jacketed housings for demanding environments.
Visitors learned how both depth and pleated filters support high-efficiency prefiltration, with validated 0.2 µm sterilising-grade media for critical final filtration stages.
Steam filtration solutions were also showcased, including SupaMesh stainless steel cartridges designed to ensure steam used in sterilisation is free from particulates, protecting both equipment and process integrity.
Another area of strong interest was our advanced filter housing capabilities, including sanitary housings designed for clean-in-place (CIP) and steam-in-place (SIP) operations.
Riaz added: “We discussed how we manufacture both standard and custom housing solutions, from initial design concepts through to machining, pressing and welding. This ensures consistent, high-quality products delivered worldwide.
“We also highlighted how our R&D programme continues to evolve through collaboration with industry partners, including global pharmaceutical companies.”
Interphex is widely regarded as a key platform for exploring advances in pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing, as well as addressing evolving regulatory requirements.
Following our second consecutive year at Interphex, we are continuing our global engagement with the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering, with events taking place in Copenhagen, Singapore and the USA throughout 2026.
