Amazon Filters shortlisted for three Surrey Business Awards

We have been shortlisted for three coveted awards that celebrate business growth and success.  

As a triple finalist at the prestigious Surrey Business Awards 2024, we are up for the title of ESG Champion of the Year and categories recognising Innovation and International Business.

In all three, we are up against the challenge of fellow entrants from a range of sectors.

To become ESG Campion, finalists must show how they have evolved their overall strategy to support the green economy and tackle environmental and climate risks. 

Our entry emphasises a number of key initiatives around energy efficiency and environmental management, coulped with our focus on community support and staff volunteering through CMPP, the Community Matters Partnership Project.

In our entry for the Innovation award, we explained the introduction this year of sustainable polypropylene in the manufacture our meltblown range of filters, SupaSpun II and SupaGard.

And for the International Business title, we highlighted how we reach the worldwide market through a combination of a distribution model and direct supply from the UK.

The strategy has seen our exports grow by more than 70% in the last five years, taking the level of international sales to 73% of revenues overall.

The Surrey Business Awards are run by Platinum Media Group and are designed ‘to recognise the remarkable achievements and contributions of businesses and individuals across the region’. 

Winners will be announced at a gala dinner at G Live in Guildford on 7 November 2024. Host for the evening is the comedian, writer, actor and presenter Suzi Ruffell.
