Amazon Staff Raise £200 for Breast Cancer Research
Amazon Filters held a ‘Wear It Pink Day’ on Friday 24th October, with staff donning pink clothing and accessories in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, with around 50,000 women diagnosed each year and about 350 men.
The staff embraced the campaign by coming to work adorned with a variety of pink ‘accessories’ including T-shirts, feather bowers and even dyed goatees. The Amazon employees ‘paid’ for the privelege of wearing pink and raised around £200 for Breast Cancer Research.
