Amazon Filters have once again been included in a list of the UK’s fastest growing and most dynamic SME’s and companies to inspire Britain.
The report, namely ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’, was compiled by the London Stock Exchange and is a comprehensive analysis of the UK’s leading SMEs, featuring a rich and varied list of businesses across more than 100 sectors. The list is a celebration of some of the fastest growing and most dynamic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK.
It contains a league table of Britain’s most exciting small and medium sized companies. The companies featured on the list had to be at least three years old and based in the UK – with a turnover of between £6million and £250million over the last 12 months.
Amazon Filters was identified as an SME in the Mechanical or Industrial Engineering sector, providing inspiration for the British Economy.
Amazon Filters had to show their revenue had grown over the last four years and that they had either increased the number of employees, size of the workspace, won more contracts or increased the number of new patents.
The report also aimed to highlight the sectors and trends that will shape the future of the UK economy. As well as identifying the list of 1000 companies, the report examines in detail the challenges and opportunities facing SMEs in the UK.
Xavier Rolet, CEO, London Stock Exchange Group said:
“In this – our second report – we see some interesting trends emerging one year further on from the financial crisis. The 1000 companies highlighted in our report have, on average, more than doubled their revenue in the past four years.”
He went on to say:
“The sector diversity in 2015 is revealing too and should swiftly dispel the notion that the UK is a country that no longer makes anything“.
Neil Pizzey, Managing Director, Amazon Filters said:
“We are delighted to have once again made it on to the list of 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain and acknowledge this as a tremendous accolade for the whole organisation. This is another great achievement for Amazon Filters in 2015. Our continued growth, development and success is underpinned by quality and also through the application of our knowledge. Equally important as what we make and how we make it is how we apply it to our customers. This has been key in our rapid development into a true, globally recognised process filter manufacturer and filtration solution provider.”
