Amazon Filters’ Housings and Cartridges WRAS Approved

Amazon Filters has been awarded approval status for many of its stainless steel housings by the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS). This follows on from approval for its SupaGard and SupaSpun II cartridges. Amazon Filters is one of a few companies capable of providing both cartridges and filter housings that are WRAS compliant and is also unrivalled in offering a system with a 20 bar working pressure.

Owners and occupiers of all premises and anyone who installs water systems or water fittings have the legal duty to ensure that the systems satisfy the WRAS regulations. Water systems must be designed, installed and maintained to meet the regulations’ requirements and materials and fittings must be of a suitable standard. It is illegal to install fittings that do not meet the standards. Using Amazon Filters’ housings and cartrdges can help water system designers and installers meet their legal obligations.

WRAS Approval has been granted for Amazon Filters’ SupaGard and SupaSpun II ranges of meltblown depth cartridges and its 51 Series, 52 Series, 55 Series and the 61-64 Series range of filter housings. These product ranges are listed on the WRAS directory of approved products and can be found at  :-http://www.wras.co.uk/Directory/materials_list.asp?Section=5260 and http://www.wras.co.uk/Directory/fittings_list.asp?Section=1050
