PROPOSALS ENGINEER
The Role
We are seeking a new Proposals Engineer to join the Proposals Team in order to provide customer and prospect support. This exciting role requires a broad range of skills and the successful candidate will be required to undertake the following key responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming sales enquiries via our sales engineers by telephone, fax and email
- Preparation of technical quotations and other associates sales documentation
- Undertake sizing and costing of non-price listed pressure vessels using good engineering principles
- Provide support for the External Sales Team
The Candidate
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a challenging and interesting position; we are looking for someone with:
- Experience of estimation costing and technical quotation preparation
- An engineering or process related background
- Internal Sales experience
- Knowledge of pressure vessels, filtration or a background in the process industry would be an advantage – although not essential.
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer contact background
- Confidence and drive
- Logical and organised approach to daily workloads
- Ability to prioritise under pressure
